Waddesdon… Beautiful barn conversion
Brief: To resolve various legacy issues with the existing lighting controls. To develop existing swimming pool lighting, that was unresponsive and unimpressive, providing an improved sustainable solution. To develop scenes, fix issues, on an obsolete and now temperamental system.
Existing large early LED technology in ground uplighters within the marble tiles provided a challenge to find like for like replacements. We therefore supplied a surface adjustable ip68 rated colour change spotlight that could be installed within the original casing, allowing for thermal management within this application. The medium beam angle provided good contrast via the reflective ceiling over the pool, and we commissioned the system to operate with the existing Interactive Lutron controls system.
Direct accessing of the processor of this obsolete controls solution, without the ability to take a database download, meant implementing a well thought out plan. Ashley our Lutron expert was eventually able to implement a soft access to the system, resolving various issues without compromising the processor which meant lowering the risk of processor failure. The keypads were never engraved during the original installation, which now means remembering what button activates what lights, empathising the absolute importance of providing clients with engraving, without fail!
